The library has reopened for normal hours after a long hiatus!  Drop in and see the refurbished upstairs with new carpet and the reconfigured basement level.  It’s all very lovely!
We have plans for a grand reopening celebration on Saturday, January 4, from 1:00-3:00.  Staff have planned activities for kids and the Friends of the Library will be providing food and hot beverages.  Additionally, the Friends will be sponsoring a book swap (free) of children’s books and cookbooks on the basement level.  Bring a book and take home a new book!  (We hope to have a book for all children even those who come without a swap book, but this is a new thing we are trying…)
Swap books — children, teen, young adult (YA) and cookbooks ONLY, please — can be dropped off as early as 11:00 but the swapping won’t start until 1:00.
As we settle into our new space, we will announce our new parameters for general book donations and book sales.  Please don’t bring general donations to the library yet.
Hope to see you Saturday!
